Peace Lutheran Church was formally organized in November of 1976 and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Services were first held at the current building on Easter Sunday 1983. In 1979, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lyons, WI merged with Peace Lutheran and the bell in front of the church is from that building. Over the years the congregation has been an active supporter of Love, Inc with First Sunday food drives, serving a monthly evening meal, Turkey drives at Thanksgiving and adopting families at Christmas. In the past a "Donkey Walk" preceded Palm Sunday services, the youth group organized several mission trips, and an annual Cantata highlighted the Advent/Christmas season. Several current members and a few past who have moved away unite every year for an Easter Breakfast.
